AI Enablement
AICameo Consulting helps mid-market companies move from AI experiments to AI in production. The work covers four things: AI opportunity assessments, agentic automation of document-heavy processes, reusable Claude Skills your team owns, and LLM integration into the systems you already run. Cameo works alongside your team and ends in working software your people own, not a slide deck.
Why do most AI projects stall?
Most companies have tried AI chat. Very few have AI in production. Someone on your team already uses Claude or ChatGPT to draft emails and summarize documents, and that is where it usually stops.
The gap is not the technology. A chat window depends on whoever is typing that day. A production automation runs the same way every time, for anyone, with quality checks built in. Until AI reaches that second state, nothing changes in the P&L.
AI enablement closes that gap. It takes the manual processes that eat the most staff hours and turns the best candidates into documented automations your team runs, owns, and improves.
When companies call about this
When do companies bring in Cameo Consulting?
Four triggers show up again and again.
Experiments that never stick
People try AI tools, get one good result, and drift back to the old way within a month. There is no owner, no documentation, and no repeatability.
Document-heavy processes eating staff hours
Invoices, contracts, work orders, compliance filings. Staff read them, retype them, and route them by hand, every day.
Leadership wants an AI answer for the board
Ownership or the board is asking what the AI plan is, and "people are experimenting" is not an answer.
A competitor is visibly faster
They quote in hours while you quote in days, and you suspect automation is the reason.
If two of those four sound familiar, Cameo Consulting can help. If you already know which process is costing you the most, we can start building the fix directly. If you want it ranked first, a Rapid Diagnostic will show you exactly where the hours and dollars are.
What is a Claude Skill?
A Claude Skill is a reusable, documented automation built on Anthropic's Claude. It packages the instructions, reference documents, and quality checks for one business process, so a non-technical user can run it repeatedly and get consistent output. Your team owns the Skill files, not a vendor. Anyone can read them, edit them, and improve them, the same way you would update a standard operating procedure.
Cameo Consulting designs and builds Skills for clients, then trains the team to maintain them. That is the difference between hiring a Claude Skills consultant and buying another software subscription: when the engagement ends, the automation stays and keeps working.
What does AI enablement include?
The work
- AI opportunity assessments. A structured scan of your operations that ranks processes by staff hours consumed, error cost, and automation fit. You get a shortlist with a dollar figure against each item, not a general readout.
- Agentic automation of document-heavy processes. Working automations that read, extract, check, and route documents such as invoices, contracts, work orders, and compliance filings. Agentic means the AI completes multi-step work on its own and flags exceptions for a person, instead of answering one question at a time.
- Reusable Claude Skills your team owns. Documented automations built on Anthropic's Claude that a business user can run repeatedly with consistent results. The files live in your environment, and your team can read, edit, and extend them.
- LLM integration into existing systems. Claude connected to your ERP, TMS, accounting, or CRM through APIs, so automation happens where the work already lives. No rip-and-replace, no new platform to buy.
What do you get?
- A ranked automation list with staff hours and dollars against each candidate process.
- Working automations in production, tested on your real documents and data.
- Skill files documented like standard operating procedures, owned by your team.
- Hands-on training so staff can run, edit, and extend every Skill without a consultant.
- A sequenced build roadmap for what comes next, ordered by return.
What does this look like in practice?
A property management firm with 100,000+ residential units and 1,000+ employees had already rolled out Claude, but usage stopped at chat. Cameo Consulting assessed the company's highest-cost manual processes, then built reusable Claude Skills for document review, data entry, compliance reporting, and vendor coordination, plus a data onboarding pilot for new communities.

Cameo Consulting implemented AI that reads each invoice, records it, and codes it to the general ledger automatically, with exceptions routed to a person. The automation was one workstream in a wider transformation across a 1,200-container fleet.

How do you decide which processes to automate first?
By math, not enthusiasm. Every candidate process gets scored on staff hours consumed, error cost, document volume, and how repeatable the steps are. The first build is usually the process with the most hours and the clearest rules, because the result is easiest to see and builds trust for the harder ones. If you already know the process, Cameo Consulting can start building it directly. If you want the full ranked list first, a Rapid Diagnostic produces it.
Do we need a data team to adopt AI?
No. Claude Skills are built for business users, and most mid-market clients have zero data engineers on staff. The work is scoped assuming that. When a process needs cleaner data before it can be automated, Cameo Consulting handles that plumbing as part of the build, drawing on the same Data & Analytics work offered under this pillar.
What does an AI enablement engagement cost?
Fixed fee, quoted after a 30-minute scoping call. Some clients already know which process to automate and start straight on the build. Others want the full picture first, in which case an assessment ranks every candidate process before anything gets built. Either way, build work is scoped in fixed-fee phases, so you approve each automation before it starts. No open-ended hourly retainers.
What results have clients seen?
A property management firm with 100,000+ units under management now runs reusable Claude Skills for document review, compliance reporting, and vendor coordination. A $100M+ intermodal logistics provider automated invoice recording and general ledger coding as part of a transformation that identified roughly $20M in net income impact.
Ready to put AI to work?
A 30-minute call is enough to tell you where to start and what a first automation would look like in your business. No deck, no pitch, and a fixed fee before any work begins.
