A multi-branch commercial landscaping company managing large property contracts engaged Cameo Consulting to replace its manual back office. Crews recorded time on paper, office staff re-keyed it into payroll, and work orders, proposals, and job costs lived in separate spreadsheets. Ownership wanted one system connecting the office, 400+ field users, and customers.
Approach
- Built the office layer: contracts, a live scheduling board, AI-parsed inbound work orders, proposals, and labor and profitability tracking by job.
- Shipped an offline-capable mobile app for 400+ field users, with PIN check-in, job photos, materials, and voice notes.
- Automated time, drive, and lunch tracking in the app, feeding payroll directly with no manual entry.
- Launched a customer portal where clients view completed work, e-sign approvals, and submit new requests.
- Integrated vehicle telematics and built BI reporting so managers see trucks, crews, and job profitability in one place.
